The Bert Show, with 460,000 listeners. But despite their high profiles, Grant Rivera and Jenn Hobby wanted an intimate wedding that would be a true reflection of their personalities. “We asked ourselves, ‘Can we do something that captures the spirit of our relationship?’” Rivera says. Ask any of the 144 guests who attended their nuptials, and they’ll tell you the couple pulled it off. Following a ceremony at the Church of the Epiphany, guests arrived at Druid Hills Golf Club, where a piano at the entrance was adorned with photos of the couple’s family with a note about how long each couple had been married. As guests collected table cards, they discovered handwritten letters from the happy couple. They went on to enjoy passed appetizers, including sugar-smacked bacon, before the newlyweds wowed them with a choreographed number to “Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts. “It was so fun,” Hobby says. “The crowd was oohing and ahhing and we fed off their energy.” The dancing didn’t stop until the couple dashed into a vintage Bentley. Their closest friends waved goodbye, while thousands more across Atlanta wished them happiness.
