Dancing in the Rain

| 30 minutes before our ceremony started on August 6, 2011, a huge storm barreled through Downtown Decatur - soaking our guests and creating quite a fuss. Luckily, just moments before I walked down to aisle to greet my husband-to-be, the thunder and lightning let up and we were able to say our vows in the peace and quiet of a soft rain. After our nuptials, we decided to mosey around the Court Square and play in the rain - creating some amazing shots thanks to our fabulous photographer! My hair and makeup may have been ruined, but thinking back to how much fun we had and how beautiful our photos turned out, it was totally worth it! And according to superstition and tradition, rain on your wedding day brings good luck!! |
